Rotowire
The Pacers signed Swider to a one-year, non-guaranteed deal Saturday, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.
Swider was impressive with the Heat's Summer League team this offseason, during which he averaged 13.5 points while shooting 49.1 percent from beyond the arc. The 25-year-old will now have the opportunity to compete for a roster spot in training camp with the Pacers after he averaged 2.3 points across 4.8 minutes in 18 regular-season games with the Heat last season.

Pacers' Andrew Nembhard: Efficient off bench
Rotowire
Nembhard totaled 18 points (8-10 FG, 2-3 3Pt), two assists, one rebound and one steal in 21 minutes during Canada's 88-85 win over Spain on Friday.
Nembhard totaled just seven points over his first two appearances in the Paris Olympics, but he had an incredibly efficient showing off the bench Friday. Although he'll likely continue to come off the bench during the knockout round, he showcased his potential during Friday's narrow win.

Pacers' Tyrese Haliburton: Plays eight minutes as reserve
Rotowire
Haliburton compiled six points (2-3 FG, 2-3 3Pt) and one assist in eight minutes during Team USA's 103-86 win over South Sudan on Wednesday.
Haliburton wasn't part of Team USA's rotation during Sunday's win over Serbia to begin Olympic play, but he saw some minutes during Wednesday's comfortable victory and was efficient from the floor. Despite his efficiency against South Sudan, Haliburton could have trouble generating consistent production as part of Team USA's talented roster as the team chases its fifth consecutive Olympic gold medal.

Pacers' Tyrese Haliburton: Not part of rotation versus Serbia
Rotowire
Haliburton did not appear in Team USA's 110-84 win over Serbia in the Paris Olympics on Sunday.
Haliburton was unable to play in the final two games of the Pacers' playoff series against the Celtics due to a left hamstring injury. The All-Star has since returned, playing in four of Team USA's five showcase games before the start of the Paris Olympics. In those four appearances, Haliburton averaged 2.0 points, 2.8 assists, 1.8 rebounds and 1.3 steals across 14.8 minutes per game. However, the 24-year-old was entirely phased out of the lineup by the fifth exhibition matchup, and he has yet to see the floor in the group phase of the Olympics.

Pacers' Andrew Nembhard: Nets three-year extension
Rotowire
Nembhard agreed Wednesday with the Pacers on a three-year, $59 million contract extension, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.
After the Pacers selected him with the first pick in the second round of the 2022 NBA Draft, Nembhard signed a three-year, $6.4 million contract that included a $2.19 million team option for 2025-26. According to Wojnarowski, the Pacers will decline that team option as part of the extension, which will go into effect beginning in 2025-26 and keeps him on the books through his age-27 campaign in 2027-28. Nembhard was solid enough in a supporting role during the 2023-24 regular season with averages of 9.2 points, 4.1 assists, 2.1 rebounds and 0.9 three-pointers in 25.0 minutes while shooting 49.8 percent from the field over 68 appearances (47 starts), but it was his performance in the playoffs that likely has the Pacers even more excited about his prospects moving forward. He averaged 14.9 points, 5.5 assists and 3.3 rebounds in 32.6 minutes over his 17 playoff contests and became the fourth player in NBA history to shoot at least 55 percent from the floor and at least 45 percent from three-point range in a single postseason, per ESPN Stats & Information. The new deal locks him in as Tyrese Haliburton's running mate in the backcourt for at least the next four years.

Pacers' Tristen Newton: Scores 17 points in SL
Rotowire
Newton logged 17 points (3-9 FG, 2-8 3Pt, 9-10 FT), six rebounds, four assists and two steals across 27 minutes of Saturday's 100-93 loss to the Cavaliers in Summer League.
Newton took on a larger offensive role due to Johnny Furphy, Ben Sheppard and Jarace Walker sitting out. While he struggled from long range, Newton had no troubles getting to the basket and drawing fouls, attempting a game-high 10 free throws. A second round pick in the 2024 NBA Draft, Newton isn't expected to see regular action with the Pacers as a rookie.

Wiseman played one full season with Detroit after being acquired from the Warriors in 2022-23, during which he averaged a career-low 7.1 points, 5.3 rebounds and 0.6 blocks across 17.3 minutes in 63 regular-season games.
