For more than 20 years, T.I. has been with Tameka “Tiny” Cottle, and together, they’ve raised a total of seven children. Fans of T.I. and Tiny got a glimpse into their strange and amazing world on their hit VH1 series, “T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle,” which aired from 2011 to 2017. From getting out of prison to forming a next-generation supergroup with the OMG Girlz (which also featured Lil’Wayne’s daughter, Reginae), the man born Clifford Joseph Harris proved the old adage that stars are just like us.
These days, T.I. has branched out from music to technology. Like many of his peers, including Jay-Z, Grand Hustle — which was once his own record label — has expanded into Grand Hustle Tech. The tech arm of the label has invested in many Atlanta-based startups, including Mulaah (a fintech app) and Sudu (an early-stage logistics and supply chain tech company).
In 2017, he founded Buy The Block, which allowed him the unique opportunity to save his own Atlanta neighborhood, including Bankhead Seafood, AfroTech previously reported.
“I partnered with [Atlanta rapper] Killer Mike and other developers to purchase the Bankhead Seafood building,” he said to Inc. about the project. “There is a corner where I have an assemblage of lots that I acquired with another partner. There’s another, bigger lot that I am acquiring on my own. I’ve gone in on six buildings and spent more than $2 million. I don’t have private equity financing or anything like that. It’s my personal finances and sweat equity.”

We’re going to pay you for the whole season; just for being in the background.’ He was like, ‘No, I’m straight.’”
